

She was born in Cleburn County, Alabama and raised in Anniston, Alabama where she graduated in 1955 from Anniston High School and then attended Jacksonville State University. In 1967, she and her family moved to Talladega, Alabama where she built a life filled with faith, family, friends, and service.
Becky was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Talladega First Methodist Church, where she was honored to serve for over fifty years in a number of roles including as a member of the Prayer Shawl Group which she especially enjoyed. She also was a member of various civic organizations.
Becky and her husband Jack opened Clark’s Insurance & Realty Center in Talladega in 1985 and operated the business until they retired in 2003. In addition, she was an AFLAC agent for over twenty years.
Becky’s life was filled with creativity, adventure, and joy. She had a love for Art and enjoyed sharing her paintings with family and friends. She enjoyed playing golf with her husband and friends in Talladega and in her travels with Jack around the state, around the country, and even a few times abroad. Becky was an avid Auburn sports fan and with Jack enjoyed attending Auburn home and away football games. She had fun playing bridge with many of her friends and loved crocheting blankets in her spare time. She loved to cook and to entertain family and friends at their home in Talladega and Orange Beach condo.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Jack Clark Jr.; her father, Henry Leroy Groover; her mother, Nellie Barker Groover; her brother, Charles Groover; and daughter in law, Beth Lee Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Klekamp (Jim); son, Dave Clark; granddaughters: Katie Karell (Clark), Ashley Farris (Jesse), and Abigail Loggins (Shelton); great-granddaughters: Hannah Farris, Dottie Farris and Clara Karell; great-grandson Hudson Loggins; and sisters in law, Betty Groover and Mary Maude McCain.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA 30075 at 1:00 p.m. in the parlor followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m in the chapel. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076.
