

Mrs. Betsy Welz Jankoski, 79, of Roswell, formerly of Springboro, OH, passed away on June 2, 2012. She was born March 11, 1933 to Carl and Rebecca Welz in New Haven, CT. Betsy will be celebrated as the kind caring person that she was until her passing. In her high school years in Connecticut she was the president of her sorority. As the Air Force wife of Ray Sr. for more than 50 years, Betsy lived a wonderful life with stays in Europe and various states to retire in Ohio and eventually Georgia . While spending most of those years as a homemaker on the go, she proudly raised their three children, worked in retail management and also became a dental assistant. Betsy loved to bowl, ice skate, ski and was an avid golfer. She was the proud grandmother of eight loving grandchildren and one great grandchild. She will be missed by all that she has touched throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Jankoski, Sr. Survivors include her children, Raymond and Susan Jankoski, Jeffrey and Lisa Jankoski and Lynda and James Bockrath; and sister, Marion Lindsay. The Life Celebration will be held at 3 P.M., Sat., June 16th, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
