Betty Jean Moody Swiatowski, loving mother and faithful friend departed this life on March 19, 2016. Born on March 6, 1937 in Geneva, Alabama, Betty lived in Atlanta since 1970. Following the death of her husband Vince Swiatowski in 2014, Betty moved to North Carolina to live closer to her daughter Donna. Betty is survived by her children, Deborah Marks (Howard), Donna Harkey (Don), Greg Swiatowski, Mark Hallum (Julia) and Mary Beth Klipstein (Michael), along with her grandchildren, Mark Colley (Amanda), James Brewer, Kelsey Dykes (Bryce), Josh Klipstein, Corey Marks, and Dustin Marks.
A service to celebrate the life of Betty will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2 at the Green Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076.
Interment will be held immediately following the service in Green Lawn Cemetery.
