A True gentleman and people person who mentored many JCP associates and particularly upcoming management over his 43 years. He has been and will continued to be missed.

Your grief will be overshadowed in time by the wonderful memories he has left.

Sharon and Cathy,
Clara shared your Dad’s tribute video with me. It was lovely to see photos of your Dad and entire family. I remember your Dad fondly from those days in Atlanta together. The photos convey that kind spirit that I remember about him. Seeing your Mom in some of the earlier photos really brought back memories. She was such a dear friend to my Mom.

Your Dad will be missed by you and his entire Penney family too. Our best wishes to all of your family.
Dave

For my junior year in college, I attended North Carolina State University as an exchange student from the University of Idaho. During my year in Raleigh, Uncle Bill and Aunt Jean showed me the meaning of true southern hospitality and family. Their door was always open to me and they made my time there very special. Uncle Bill was a true gentleman, and he will be missed. Sending heartfelt love and prayers to Sharon and Cathy and their families.

My love and peace to you Sharon and Cathy and your families. Most definitely a special uncle and brother! My Mama always says Billy is her special brother. Being close in age they were playmates their entire lives. I treasure the visits with Uncle Bill and Aunt Jean. I looked forward to being with them anytime they came to Elkin especially when I resided there and later when I visited there. My Uncle Bill and Aunt Molly Jean are like the couple from the book/movie "The Notebook". Whenever I watch that movie I think of them and their love for each other! I am sure they are together again!! May you be Comforted by the Holy Spirit and the Peace of Christ be with you all now and always.
