A devout Christian throughout his life, Bobby grew up as a member of the Springwood Baptist community in Buchanan, Virginia, and later became a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia. His faith was central to who he was and guided him in every aspect of his life.
Bobby was a proud graduate of Buchanan High School in Buchanan, Virginia. He went on to build a distinguished career as an executive with Norfolk Southern Railway, where he served faithfully for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason and Sally, and his siblings Lewis, Helen, Harry, Ella, and Evelyn. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nancy; his son, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Robin; and granddaughter, Kailani, who brought him immense joy.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.

Bobby will be remembered for his unwavering faith, devotion to family, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
