California B. “Callie” Myers, aged 92, passed away on March 28, 2025. She was born on April 30, 1932, to William T. Boone and Ethel H. Harrell in Portsmouth, Virginia. The eldest of three daughters, Annette Blevins of San Diego, California and Geraldine Jenkins, deceased, Portsmouth, Virginia.
Callie loved her family and gave of her time, finances and wisdom to help those in need. She was a proud mother and loved spending time with her son Michael J. Myers, his wife, Tiny Helen, grandchildren Tiffany, Ivison and Sean and her loving great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by those she touched, including immediate and extended family and friends. Callie was preceded in death by her husband, Professor Joseph E. Myers.
A family service will be held on April 7, 2025, at Roswell Funeral Home to celebrate Callie’s life and honor her contributions to our world.
