Carol was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was known for her generosity and her love of children. She loved to shop, bake, read and sew. She was the best Mimi ever. She taught for many years, first in Mokena, IL and then in Alpharetta, GA.
She will be deeply missed by her children Brian (Gina) DeWitt and Jill Wolfe; her grandchildren Brianna DeWitt, John DeWitt and Patrick Wolfe; her fiancé Gerry Graves; sisters-in-law Amy (John) Chisholm, Dena (James) Chisholm and Char (Lee) DeWitt, nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John Patrick “Pat” DeWitt, brothers John Chisholm and James Chisholm, and brothers-in-law Kim DeWitt and Lee DeWitt.
Carol's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but her legacy will forever be cherished.
She will be laid to rest beside her husband Pat at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA.
