Age 79, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Cumming, GA. Born on October 11, 1945, to Ralph and Louise DePalma (Angelucci) in Montebello, CA. Carol married Paul D. Palermo on March 18, 1967, in Pasadena, CA.
Carol is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Cindy (Josh) and Dean (Marie); and her siblings, Cyndi and Anthony. She also leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Enzo, Hudson, Sophia, and Brielle.
Carol is predeceased by her parents and brother, Ralph.
A graduate of Woodbury College in Los Angeles, CA, Carol was an active community member throughout her life. In Orange County, CA, she served as a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOCO), where she was involved in many fundraising activities including as the General Chairman of a major two-day fashion show that raised over $100,000 for the children’s hospital.
In Dallas, TX, she dedicated her efforts to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, managing significant events such as the MS Walk-A-Thon and the “Redo for MS.”
In Georgia, Carol was instrumental in fostering community connections by establishing a group known as “The Lunch Bunch.”
A true people person, Carol had a remarkable ability to bring others together. She was cherished by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A receiving of friends & family for Carol will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
