Carole Jean Newton, originally Carole Coleman, will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, GA on May 17th at 3:00 pm. She passed away on March 30th in Mansfield, Texas. She was married to Rev. Jerry Newton for 62 years. She was the love of his life. She had a daughter, Miriam Byrd, who lives in Arlington, Texas. Carole is survived by her sisters, Vollie Reed and Deb O’Shields. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Roy Coleman and Lorena Coleman, by her sister Joan Martin, and by her brother Arthur Roy Coleman, Jr.
