

Carolyn Jeffrie was born on January 20, 1939 to Carrie Sellars and Clarence Wade in Paducah, Kentucky.
On February 13, 2025 Carolyn passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 86 years old.
Carolyn attended Hirsch High School in Chicago, Illinois. She also attended DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
Carolyn married Eddie Jeffrie Jr. December 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois.
Through this union, Carolyn and Eddie had five children.
Despite her large family, Carolyn always made time for everyone. She always provided support and love for her family. She and her husband Eddie worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their children. She would proudly boast about all five children graduating and becoming successful. She was so very proud.
Carolyn worked in customer service while raising her five children. She played the role of both mother and father while her husband was deployed in the military.
Despite these struggles, she always provided a loving and warm home for the family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carrie Sellars; her father, Clarence Wade; and sisters, Tamara Culler and Sharon Bouyer.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Eddie Jeffrie Jr. of Alpharetta, Georgia; her children: Germaine Walls (Thomas) of Cumming, Georgia, Victoria Patton Brown (Arthur) of Hollywood South Carolina, Sherri Fisher of Winder, Georgia, Colin Jeffrie (Victoria) of North Charleston, South Carolina and Edward Jeffrie III (Susan) of Duluth, Georgia.
Carolyn had two nieces: Tameika Morris of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Jasmine Bouyer of Chicago, Illinois and two nephews Justin Bouyer of Chicago, Illinois, Terence Culler of Leesburg, Virginia.
Carolyn had 12 grandchildren: Devon Walls (Ashley) of Bloomington, Illinois, Lakeisha Patton, Nathanial Patton, Terrance Patton, Chancler Brown, Demeatric Brown, Joshua Taylor, all of South Carolina. Memphis (DaJuan) Brown of Chesapeake, VA, Vincent Fisher of North Carolina, Christa Fisher, Brittney Jeffrie, and Brandon Jeffrie of Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.
A very special thank you to her granddaughter Christa Fisher for the loving care and support she gave to her grandmother. It was not easy but she did it with grace and never complained. The family thanks you so much.
