Charles William Green, Sr. Age 88, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away on July 14, 2026. He was the proud owner of a trucking business for 30 years, could fix anything, enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, farming, and loved playing his standup bass with friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bales Green: son, Kerry Green (daughter-in-law Sandra Green); daughter Sherry Green; Father and Mother, W. G. "Preacher" and Mary Jo Green.
He is survived by his children, Charles "Chip" W. Green, Jr. (Jennifer), Mandy Gravitt (Brannon) and Grandchildren; Shelby Green, Taylor Siberski, Savanah and Sydney Green. He was also survived by his brother, Gene Green (Diane) and sister Paricia (Marcus) Dove.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
