Christopher William Waters, age 34, passed away on May 23, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1991, in Atlanta, GA, to Dr. Paul Keith Waters and Amy Regina Waters.
Chris was a devoted and loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He was known for his generosity, selflessness, and deep sense of loyalty to his friends and family. He had many passions: an appreciation for cars, technology, science fiction, and music. A gifted musician, Chris was especially talented at both classical and electric guitar.
Chris graduated from Centennial High School in 2009 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University in 2014. He built a successful career as a Project Manager and later became fluent in cryptocurrency trading and has always passionately pursued his many interests.
Throughout his life, Chris accomplished so much, personally and professionally. He was a rare individual whose impact far exceeded his years. Always eager to help others, Chris had a unique gift for problem-solving and was endlessly thoughtful. He took time and care in giving to others, always bringing joy and improving the lives of those around him.
Chris will be deeply missed by his wife, Zenia Waters of Roswell, GA; his parents, Paul and Amy Waters; his sister, Megan Waters; his beloved dogs, Journey and Pickle Pie; his uncle, Frank Klymn, and cousin, Jesse Klymn; the entire Bourn family; and his many friends. We were incredibly fortunate to have had him in our lives. He was truly a gift to all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on May 30th at 1pm at Roswell Funeral Home to celebrate Chris’s life and to honor the beautiful contributions he made to our world.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Chris made was profound. While his absence is deeply felt, his legacy of kindness, generosity, and loyalty will live on with all who loved him.
Chris’s family is very grateful to the doctors and nurses who cared for him at Kennestone Hospital with compassion and love.
