Clement E. Hanrahan, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the age of 76. Clem retired from UPS after a successful 32 year career. He served his country in the United State Air Force. He was an active member of St. Brigid Catholic Church and his life was devoted to issues of homelessness and hunger. He served on the national boards for United Way and Junior Achievement and devoted 13 years as board member of Special Olympics Georgia. He had a passion for golf and travel, visiting all seven continents during his retirement years.
Clem is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna, six children; Brian Hanrahan (Paige), Mary Cooper (Dave), Linda Hanrahan (Mike Weber), Diane Coleman, Cynthia Henry (Blake), Jim Hanrahan (Maggie), 13 grandchildren; Jeffery, Amanda, Corey, Christina, Catherine Henrichs(Casey), Jennifer, Drew, Rick, Dan (Whitney), Jon, Connor, Norah and Evie, along with five siblings; Don Hanrahan, Mike Hanrahan, Diane Pelletier, Ellen Wiske, and Carol Hanrahan.
A memorial service for Mr. Hanrahan is scheduled for 1:00 pm December 3, 2014, at Saint Brigid Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shepherd Center, Atlanta GA. http://www.shepherd.org/charitable-giving/make-a-gift
