

He was born on October 26, 1950, in Itta Bena, Mississippi, the son to the late Clifton and Zena Hodge.
At the age of eight, his family decided to move to Pensacola, Florida. Charles was raised in Pensacola, Florida, and attended Catholic High School. He went on to Pensacola Junior College and later received his
Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he served our country for 21 years in the United States Navy.
Charles met the love of his life, Linda Pfeiffer, and they were united in matrimony in 1972. This union was blessed with a son, Michael. Charles and Linda spent many years sharing precious memories and
adventures together. Charles loved his family and he enjoyed having his family and friends around. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His life and influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
Charles is preceded in death by both of his parents, Clifton and Zena Hodge. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda D. Hodge; son, Michael Hodge and his wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Hailey, Nathan and Caitlyn; sister, Helen Buchanan and her husband Jim; and brother, Clifton Hodge.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm. The visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
And in lieu of flowers, donations to the Gary Sinise Foundation or a preferred Veterans charity in Charles' memory would be appreciated.
