Cindy was born in Melbourne, Florida on March 10, 1960 to Ed and Mary Griffin. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Cliff Robertson for over 32 years. She was a graduate of The University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE ROLL). Cindy loved to cook, sing, spend time with friends and family, and her precious Yorkshire Terrier, Bama. She was very family-oriented and loved visiting her parents in Cartersville, GA. Two of her favorite things to do were to spend time with her mom shopping, having lunch and enjoying their time together and spending father/daughter time on the back porch grilling.
She was a talented artist and singer. Her strong Christian faith led her to Roswell First Baptist Church where Cindy enjoyed singing with the choir and preparing meals for Wednesday night supper. Cindy’s smile and caring personality extended to each member of her church family.
Cindy’s favorite pastime was visiting the campus of The University of Alabama at the beginning of football season. She loved the enthusiasm and energy found on campus and attended, watched and celebrated each game. She and Cliff met on campus her freshman year and remained loyal Bama fans.
Cindy spent her career working in the apartment industry and was an active member of the Atlanta Apartment Association. She was a founding committee member of the annual Can Can Ball benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank. She will be remembered as a valuable volunteer for the Atlanta Apartment Association.
