Mr. David F. "Dave" Korb, 85, of Alpharetta, passed away on Jan. 18, 2011. Dave was born in Cincinnati Ohio and graduated from Xavier University. After 35 years of service as a Regional Manager for the General Electric Co. he retired in 1983. His son, Robert John Korb, 1988, precedes him in death. Dave is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Mrs. Shirley Lee (Rothring) Korb; loving children - David Alan (Kaye) Korb, Steven Edward (Sue) Korb, Kimberley Ann (Russell Miller) Korb, Thomas Jeffrey Korb and Paul Michael (Julia) Korb; grandchildren - David, Kristen, Michael, Lauren, Katie, Matt, Christina, Caitlin, Robert and Gabrielle. The Memorial Mass will be held at 10 A.M., Fri., Jan. 21, 2011 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004, with a receprion following at the church. Graveside services will be private and at a later date. Contributions may be made in David's rememberance to the Hospice of Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA, 30097 or the charity of your choice. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
