Dennis Martin Dolezar

Dennis will be remembered with love and respect by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Liane, his son, Jon (Inga), and grandsons Tristan and Koen. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen (Jane) Dolezar of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his sister Teri (Hank) Westendorf of Kokomo, Indiana. He was uncle to 11 nieces and nephews.

Dennis taught at Waukesha County Technical College from 1974 until he retired in 2007. There he worked with students who were learning English as a new language and with those preparing for college courses. He later supervised the peer tutor program. His coworkers and family remember his wit and jovial spirit. Dennis will be cherished by many life-long Wisconsin friends who remained dear to him.

Dennis and Liane moved to Georgia in 2011 to be close to their family, and he enjoyed being connected to the school and activities their grandsons were involved in. Their new senior community offered a welcoming retirement life full of new friends and fun activities. Dennis was a 1963 graduate of Pius XI H.S. in Milwaukee and received degrees from Illinois Benedictine University and University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 North Jackson Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202, on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. for all our Wisconsin friends and family.
