On May 25, 2026, Heaven welcomed home a beautiful soul when Dianne Lovett entered peacefully into the arms of the Lord. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort knowing she now rests in eternal peace, surrounded by everlasting love and grace.
Dianne Lovett was the heart of her family — a gentle light whose kindness touched everyone she met. She carried herself with quiet strength, endless compassion, and a faith that never wavered. Her hands were always open to help, her words always filled with encouragement, and her love given freely and unconditionally.
She found beauty in simple moments: laughter shared around the table, prayers whispered for those she loved, warm embraces, and caring for the people God placed in her life. To know her was to know comfort, warmth, and unwavering devotion.
Though she has left this earthly home, her love remains woven into the lives she shaped and the hearts she nurtured. Her memory will live on in every act of kindness, every family gathering, every prayer lifted in faith, and every moment love is chosen over all else.
She leaves behind cherished family and friends who will forever carry her spirit with them.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Jep and Cora Langston, her sister Peggy Langston and son Brian Lovett.
“She leaves behind her devoted husband of 61 wonderful years, Jim Lovett, her daughter’s Lori (Kip) Henderson and Dana (Shawn) Shelton, her grandchildren Farrah Young, Emily Lamb and Lauren Shelton and her brother Charles Langston
Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
The family finds peace in the promise of Scripture:
‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ — Psalm 34:18
The visitation will be on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5-7pm at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. A celebration of her beautiful life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00PM at Roswell Funeral Home.
Until we meet again, her love will remain our guiding light, and her faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
