Doris Potts Massey

Doris was a beloved wife and mother. She was known for her abiding faith and her outgoing, friendly manner. Throughout her life, Doris achieved many accomplishments through volunteering and service and touched the lives of countless individuals through her involvement in school, church and community activities.

Doris is survived by sons, Michael (Julianne) Massey and Gil Massey and by grandchildren, Griffen, Avrey, Megan and Tyler. She is also survived by siblings, Billie Ann Scoggins and Imogene (Edward) Sims, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G.C. Massey, her parents, her brothers Leonard, Grady Lee and J.C. Potts, and by sister, Hazel Giddeons.

Visitation hours will be 5:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025 and funeral service will be held on Friday January 24, 2025, 1:00 pm at Roswell Funeral Home to celebrate Doris Massey's life and honor her contributions to our world.

Doris Massey's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but her legacy will forever be cherished.
