

Dorothy was born on September 20, 1933, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dorothy attended Morgan Falls Elementary and Fulton County High School.
She fell in love with and married the most amazing man, Walter Amos. She truly enjoyed taking care of him.
Dorothy enjoyed cooking, reading and music. She was a fan of country music however, Elvis Pressley was her favorite. Going camping and making memories brought Dorothy joy, but most of all, Dorothy loved her family and spending time with them. She was such a joy to be around.
Dorothy was an outstanding wife, aunt, and friend. Her life and love for her family will always be cherished in the lives who knew her.
Ms. Dorothy Ann Amos is preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Amos; parents, Nettie Mae and William Wallace; brothers, James and Paul Wallace. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends at Roswell Funeral Home, in Roswell, Georgia, for a visitation at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 with a graveside service to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
