Eleanor Petrino Carlton of Marietta, formerly of Stratford Connecticut, passed away Wednesday, Dec 12, 2012 after a short illness. “Ellie” as she was known to her friends in Georgia, was born in Bridgeport, Ct and was married to her husband, Bill, for 45 years before his death in 1987. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Maureen Peterson. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Williams and her husband John, 4 grandchildren, AJ Peterson and his wife, Missy, and Michael Peterson of Chicago, Ryan Williams of Denver, Meghan Williams of Marietta and 1 great-grandchild Maren of Chicago. A Memorial will be from 10-11am with a funeral Mass starting at 11am at St. Peter Chanel Catholic church in Roswell on Wednesday, December 19th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the St Peter Chanel chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
