

Elnora (“Nora”) L. Fellingham, 80, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed on Sun., July 1, 2012. She was born to the late Monte and Elnora Geasland, July 19, 1932, in Council Bluffs, IA. She married Bob Fellingham, a Navy officer, in 1948. They traveled extensively across the globe. She and Bob retired to Pensacola, FL in 1994, and relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2009. During her travels Nora worked for the Social Security Administration and the US Navy as an administrator. Nora’s succeeded in her life's dream to be a wife and mother. Nora was active in Speaking, theatre, Singing, writing, scrapbooking and poetry. In 1972, Nora was a top 10 finalist in the Toast Mistress (now part of Toast Masters) International Speech Competition in Miami, FL. Nora achieved a BA in Journalism from the Kent State University of Ohio in 1982. Nora is greatly loved and survived by her family, husband of 64 years, Bob; 3 sons, Monte (Pearl), Robert Jr. (Eva), and Charles (Julie) . Her memory will be cherished by five grandchildren: John, Andrew, Robbie Dee, Audrey and Steve. She is blessed with two great grandchildren, Trevor and Taylor. and her 3 brothers, Major Ronald Clamont Geasland, Army US Retired, Colonel Robert Lee Geasland, US Air Force Retired & Mr. David Lyle Geasland and her sister, Barbara Kay Geasland Beraldi. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M., Thurs., July 5th and a service will be held on Friday, July 6th @ 11am both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. Services will then be held in Omaha, NE @ Roeder Funeral Home on Monday, July 9 @ 12 pm with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
