Mrs. Enerene “Billie” McPherson Spruill, 91, of Roswell, passed away on June 25, 2012. She opened the Davison’s Dept. Store at Lenox Square Mall in 1959 and retired in 1987 from Macy’s after 27 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Winford Calvin Spruill in 1972. Survived by her daughters, Shyra & Jack Pruitt and Winifred & Randall Smith; 5 grandchildren, Susan Smith, Karen & Andy Lasater, Leslie & Mickey Pruitt, Julie & Rusty Pruitt, and Pepper & Steve Baker; 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Black. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m., Wed., June 27, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA, 30076. The Funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., June 28, at First Baptist Church of Roswell, 710 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA, 30075. Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Park following the service. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the J. I. Wright Library of First Baptist Church of Roswell. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
