Eric was very strong and overcame many health obstacles since October 2007. Eric always had a smile on his face and never let his health issues get in the way of anything he set out to do. His passions were bodybuilding, weight lifting and nutrition. He also had an interest in politics and enjoyed Star Wars movies, video games and the beach. Eric loved his family and cats - Catman, Tom-Tom Girl and Lynx.
In his younger years he participated in Karate, earning his red belt when he was only 8 years old. In high school he was active in track, wrestling and football.
Eric was an inspiration to many people that he met at The Piedmont Heart Center. Often giving advice on how to wear clothing to support the LVAD more comfortably, exercise, weightlifting and nutrition.
He had made many good friends who cared deeply about him and continue to reach out to us to lend support.
Eric was a graduate of Westford Academy High School, in Westford, MA. He earned his Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics from Bentley University, Waltham, MA. and was on the Dean's List. He earned his Masters Degree in Finance from The Keller Graduate School of Management, graduating with High Honors.
We are so very proud of Eric and all he accomplished in his life. He never complained about what he was going through, or any of the pain he was in. He is the bravest person we've ever known. He Faced many major surgeries without fear and rehabilitated himself to get back to his high standards.
He is survived by his loving parents Joseph and Sherrie Emmanuele. His caring sister Renay Emmanuele and his nephew Derrick Bednarz. His Aunt Paula and Uncle Joe Ajello, Uncle Pierce Evans, Uncle Gary Evans, Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Ray Dowd, Uncle Don Drohan, many cousins, friends, and devoted friend Kelly Ferguson.
Eric is sadly missed by all and will be forever in our hearts.
