Evelyn B. Sellers, 90, died March 12, 2012 after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Ozark, Alabama on April 20, 1921. As the wife of an Army officer, she lived in various places including Japan and Germany. She was an administrative assistant at Georgia State University Library and Georgia Institute of Technology Library. Evelyn loved gardening and was an active member of Atlanta garden clubs. She will be especially remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Clyde Chason Sellers and survived by her daughters, Carole Sellers Fulghum (Charles B.), Jean Sellers Vickery (Charles M. ), Joan Sellers, all from Atlanta, GA; grandson, Kenneth Eugene McCarson (Dolly W.) of Kansas City, MO.; great-grandchildren, Connor Brannon McCarson and James Bryant McCarson of Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on March 14 at Roswell Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on March 15 at Northbrook United Methodist Church with burial following at Arlington Memorial Park.
