Frances Harviel Kruer

Born and raised in Cornelius, N.C. Fran was the only child of James and Minnie Harviel and enjoyed growing up in her beloved Cornelius. In 1945, she married Robert J. Kruer and moved to his hometown of Ft Thomas Ky. The first three of her six children JoAnn, Carolyn, and Bob Jr. were born in Ft Thomas. In 1957 Bob and Frances moved to Atlanta where he was actively involved in commercial

construction, finance, accounting and real estate development. Fran continued her chosen career and passion of being a Wife and Mother adding three more children, Kerry, Mary, and Janet. Fran was extremely supportive of Bob and the kids and their pursuits in school, sports, church, business, and life. She particularly enjoyed watching over her 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Minnie, and father, James, and her loving husband Bob. Fran is survived by her six children and their spouses:

JoAnn Douglass and Kirk Douglass, Carolyn George and Ron George, Bob Kruer

Jr. and Vivian Kruer, Kerry Kruer, Mary Bruce and Greg Bruce, and Janet

Peters and Brian Peters, 9 grandchildren and their spouses: Heather Brown

and Jimmy Brown, Lisa Ouellette and Mike Ouellette, Rob Kruer III, Kelsey

George, Lane Bruce, Beth Bruce, Leigh Peters, Courtney Peters, and Katie

Peters; and 6 great grandchildren; Connor Brown, Andrew Brown, Madeline

Brown, Logan Ouellette, Mason Ouellette, and Evan Ouellette.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Weds. Feb. 26, at Roswell Funeral Home,

950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076. The celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Thurs., Feb. 27, at the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076. A reception will follow. Private burial at Arlington Memorial Park.
