Frances Leah Mitchell Tardif, 81, of Roswell, GA, previously of Miami, FL, passed away peacefully September 18, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Frances was born July 24, 1941 in Hopewell, VA to the late Fletcher and Doris Mitchell.
As a child, Frances moved with her family to Miami, FL where she graduated from Miami High School and then Lindsey Hopkins Vocational School. She worked various jobs until she married Robert Tardif and became a mother, at which time Frances devoted herself to raising her children. She had two sons, Paul and Robert, and later adopted Diane and Jesse. In later years, she restarted her career at Williamson Cadillac in Miami, retiring after 32 years. After this, she moved to Roswell, GA in 2008 to be closer to family. During her retirement, Frances enjoyed spending time with all her children, grandchildren, and “grand-pets”. During this time, she also managed a pet sitting small business.
