Fred Anthony Jabaley

Dr. Fred Anthony Jabaley of Cumming, Georgia, age 78, passed away October 22, 2015. Fred is the son of the late John and Elizabeth Jabaley of Copperhill, TN. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patsy, and his two daughters Jennifer Roberts (Dr. J. Kenneth Roberts) and Susan Propis(Christopher Propis). He is also survived by his brothers, Dr. Michael and Charles “Chuck” Jabaley, and sister Theresa Jabaley. Fred was the proud Giddo of three grandchildren: Olivia Roberts, Evan Roberts and Patrick Propis.

Dr. Jabaley attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN, was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and he practiced dentistry in the Atlanta area for 35 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Fred was an avid golfer and member of the Atlanta Athletic Club. A true outdoorsman, he often enjoyed many weekends filled with hunting, fly fishing, boiled peanuts and bluegrass.

At 4:00 PM on Sunday October 25th a Rosary Service will take place at Roswell Funeral Home followed by a visitation. A funeral mass will be held Monday October 26th at 11:00 AM at Saint Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA. Reception immediately to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
