Gail was born on February 15th in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended GA State and married the love of her life. Her entire family can attest to the fact that she had a quiet inner strength and the patience of a saint. She was always supportive, encouraging and sincerely listened to you. She was wise, kind and well mannered – she was a class act in every way. Gail sacrificed her own needs for those of her family. She looked for the good in everyone and was content with the little things in life.
She loved reading (a lot!), working on family genealogy, scrapbooking, caring for her children and grandchildren (a full-time job), educating children and letting them know how much God loved them. She was passionate about her relationship with Christ, her family and world history.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Philip R. Rader, daughters Denice Luke and Amy Benson-Neps, grandson Dagan Benson, granddaughters Katy Luke, Amellia Benson and Miranda Benson, great grandson Noah Pierre, sister Brenda Hays, aunts Christine (Tom) Swims and Mae O'Steen, uncle Mickey Swims, nieces Melanye Cravey, Meighan Carmichael, Lauren Pisano, nephews Justin Hays and Matthew Carmichael.
