Dad,
I miss you tons! Thank you for being my dad and taking care of all of us. You were a wonderful husband to mom, and I hope you are walking along an ocean in heaven side by side at peace.

My sweet Grandpa!!!

Grandpa Gary was always the kindest human with a constant smile on his face. From many stories being told about my youth, one stands out about how I would cry from nothing and would only calm down when my grandpa would hold me in his prized red chair.

From the many film articles he would send to me to gifting me my late nana’s car, he has made me so happy through the years and I could listen to him talk about tennis and books forever.

May he Rest In Peace with the love of his life for all eternity. 

Dad..I love you so much and thank you for everything you have done for me.  I appreciate all the sacrifices you have made for me and our family.    I know you are in a better place and are with mom now.  May God bless you and I will give you a warm hug on the other side.   With all the love I can give, your forever son, Derek Hartrampf.      Miss you dad!

When we bought our house in 2007, we couldn't have been more lucky with the neighbors we moved in next to.  We were in our 20s and our first weekend in the house we had a significant, late night, loud house warming party.  The next day we met Jackie and Gary while cleaning up outside.  We apologized for the noise . Both laughed and Jackie said, "We were young once," and Gary added, "Don't worry about us, have fun!"  Needless to say, we loved them immediately and will always remember both of them in that moment.

Gary was always the most kind, quick to smile, and friendly man.   In a world where people are apt to  keep to themselves, he would always stop to issue a kind greeting or a wave every time he passed by or was out working in the yard.  We were lucky to have known him and wish nothing but the best for his family.  In the future, when we think back about Gary, we will probably imagine him sitting with his son on the deck smoking a cigar and laughing. 

Don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can help with.  We will keep an eye on the house and are here if you need us.
