Gene Reed Buchanan, 84, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on June 9, 2014. Gene had a long career with and retired from the BellSouth Corporation. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Buck" Buchanan; mother, Sarah Reed; sister, Sue Legg and is survived by her daughter, Joan Buchanan (Mrs. Lewis) Jordan and granddaughter, Katie Elizabeth Knerr. A graveside service will be held at Rolling Hills Memorial Park on June 13 at 1:00 pm followed by a reception in the family gathering room, in the main building.
