Mr. Genedrick “Gene” Williams Martin, age 69, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Gene was born on February 12, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, and was son to Sydney Martin and Peggy Smith- Martin.
Gene served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and retired honorably as Master Sergeant. In his spare time he enjoyed serving in church, playing guitar, and computer technology. Gene was a man of honesty, strength, and integrity, as well as, wonderful son, father and friend. He will certainly be remembered by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his Father, Sydney Martin, of Chicago, Illinois; his son Daryl Martin, daughter-in-law Katharine, of Roswell, Georgia, and extended family members and friends.
