Buzzy, a native of Atlanta attended the Atlanta Speech School as a young deaf child, where he learned to communicate and excel in a hearing world. He went on to graduate from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1962 and had a successful 34yr career at The Coca-Cola Company, where he also met his wife of 43 years, Kathy Tarrance. Buzzy's charisma and passion for life radiated in him and left a lasting impression on all who have been blessed to know him.
Buzzy is survived by his wife, Kathy Tarrance, daughter, Dolvin Henry (Hunter), and sons, Guy Tarrance III and Todd Tarrance (Katie), along with his six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Atlanta Speech School, in honor of Guy Miles Tarrance, Jr., will be appreciated.
