

Hans was born on April 27, 1932, in Buch, Switzerland, and spent most of his formative years in Aarau, Switzerland, with his two brothers Gottlieb and Max and twin sisters Kathy and Verena. Upon completion of his service in the Swiss Army, Hans immigrated to the U.S. and honorably served in the U.S. Army from June 21, 1955, through June 1, 1957. Hans eventually earned his U.S. citizenship on May 25, 1959. It was in New York that Hans met and married, the love of his life for 52 years, Nancy Fisher on January 20, 1962. For most of his business career, Hans dedicated himself to the commercial real estate market in the two cities of New York and Atlanta, including the opening of several offices and commercial development projects. Hans was an avid gardener, opportunistic fisherman, loved coaching and watching his sons and grandchildren participate in athletic endeavors, most notably baseball and enjoying long days and life itself with his daughter.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Dambach, and his three children, John Dambach of Alpharetta, GA, Stephen Dambach of Nashville, TN, and Susan Prince of Sugar Hill, GA, and their respective spouses – Michele, Karen and Dan. Hans is also survived by his seven grandchildren ages 9 through 17 – Jordan, Alexia, Max, Henry, Piper, Anthony and Julia. He was preceded in death by his parents Klara Rosa Luesher Dambach and Gottlieb Dambach. Hans was an admired and loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Viewing will take place Wednesday, October 29, from 4 PM until 8 PM at the Roswell Funeral Home located at 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076. Burial services will be conducted at Arlington Memorial Park, located at 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328, on Thursday morning October 30 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Hans Dambach to the Wounded Warrior Project in the name of Hans Dambach.
