

Harry William Grow Jr., 79, passed away on April 22, 2011 in Savannah, Ga. He was a previous resident of Dunwoody, GA. and was born on May 30, 1931 in St. Louis, MO. Married to Barbara J Grow on August 25, 1956, Harry graduated from Northwestern University and received his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the son of the late Harry W. Grow Sr. and Mildred A. Grow, of Ferguson, MO and the father of the late J. Scott Grow. Harry was also preceded in death by his mother and father in-law Herbert and Ethel, brother in-law J. LeRoy Cange, and nephew Clifton Cange. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara J. Grow of Savannah, GA; son Steven and wife Michele of Cary NC; daughter Tracy Grow of Ellijay, GA; and son Stuart and wife Nina of Hyde Park, NY. Harry is also survived by his sister Janet Cange of Maryville, IL, 3 nieces, and 15 grandchildren.
Harry was a true artisan, who loved designing and building anything he could dream of. He was gifted with many talents and embraced every relationship with an enthusiasm rarely seen. He also loved playing the piano, golfing, and entertaining friends and family.
Harry was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, and dear Friend. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. - 12 Noon with the Funeral Service at 12 Noon, TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2011, Both at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA, 30076. Entombment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
