She was born on October 25, 1965, at 6:30 PM at Lakenheath Air Force Base in England, on a crisp autumn evening beneath cloudy skies and a gentle October drizzle.
We celebrate the life and memory of Hilari Andria Forte—a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, family member, and friend whose life touched many. Born into a military family, she embraced Air Force life, which allowed her to live and travel in Italy, Germany, and across the United States.
A graduate of Meridian High School in Meridian, Idaho, Hilari was known for her quiet spirit and was deeply cherished by her family and appreciated by friends.
She served as a preschool teacher in Boise, Idaho, and Lexington, Kentucky, where her kindness and gentle presence left a lasting impact.
She was a faithful member of St. James Community Church, located in Alpharetta, GA where she worshipped alongside her beloved mother, Sis. Allie Forte. Hilari was an excellent Bible Study student as she participated in the St. James Discipleship Bible Class under the leadership of Pastor Bert Neal. She was also instructed by Barbara Carpenter and John Fowler during her Christian education journey. Hilari was a member of the United Women of Faith and the CTSS ministries.
Though her time with us was shorter than we wished, the love she gave and the lives she touched remain a lasting treasure.
As we give thanks for her life, we find comfort in family, friendship, and the promise of God’s eternal care. Her memory remains forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Hilari’s favorite scripture, John 3:16, reminds us: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
We mourn Hilari’s earthly passing but celebrate her eternal life with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Forte Sr., beside whom she will be laid to rest in accordance with her wish as a “daddy’s girl.” She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Allie Forte, her brother, Jessie Forte Jr., and a host of loving family members and friends.
