James W. Beasley, 75, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2015. He was born on January 12, 1940 to the late J.W. “Sonny” Beasley and Helen Turner Beasley in Swainsboro, GA. He enjoyed reading, Georgia Tech football, playing cards, music and especially being with family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Diana Beasley of Marietta, GA; daughter, Bliss Beasley of Birmingham, AL; son, Brad (Heidi) Beasley of Birmingham, AL; stepdaughter, Cynthia Mischka of Los Angeles, CA; stepson, Alan Vannoy of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Erin and Josh Beasley, Ryan and Emily Vannoy; sister, Brenda Bacon, of Glenville, GA; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, May 24 at Green Lawn Cemetery. A reception will follow at Roswell Funeral Home.
