

James (Jimmy) Adam Brown, born on January 30, 1941, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 84. A resident of Dahlonega, Georgia. Jimmy was known for his dedication and service to both his family and community.
Born in Lumpkin County to parents William and Nellie, Jimmy was raised with strong values that guided him throughout his life. He proudly served his country as an army veteran, a testament to his commitment and bravery.
Jimmy was married to his beloved wife, Pauline, for 59 years until her passing. Together, they built a loving family, including their only son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, who survive him.
Outside of his family commitments, Jimmy was an avid hunter and fisherman, passions that brought him great joy throughout his life. He was known for being very helpful to the residents at the assisted living facility where he resided, leaving behind many friends and a community that valued his kindness and support.
Jimmy leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication, cherished by his family and the community he served so well.
A celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Dahlonega Assisted Living located at 55 Mechanicsville Road, Dahlonega, GA 30533. Interment at Salem Baptist Church will be at a later date.
