Jeff earned a degree in Economics from the University at Albany and went on to receive his law degree from New York Law School. He had a successful career as Vice President of Claims for CHUBB Insurance.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jeff was a devoted family man. He cherished his role as a father to his two sons and was a loving husband. Jeff enjoyed cheering on his beloved New York Mets and Knicks, dancing, immersing himself in music, and drawing. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and he will be remembered for his caring and thoughtful nature, as well as his intelligence.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Jill Sorkin; his sons, Josh and Ethan Sorkin; his loving parents, Herb and Gloria Sorkin; and his brother, Andrew Sorkin.
A funeral service for Jeff will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, Georgia 30076. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Brain Tumor Society https://braintumor.org/ in Jeff's memory.
