Mr. Jim Hughes, 49, of Roswell, a native of Atlanta, entered into God's care on May 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He had a career in sales and customer service most recently with Home Depot. Jim was an avid cyclist and runner who ran the Peachtree nearly 20 times. He leaves a legacy of never ending optimism and unconditional love. He was a devoted father to and is survived by his daughter Stephanie Lauren Hughes. He is also survived by parents, Kathleen and Edwin Hughes; brother, Chris (Kellie) Hughes and sister, Cynthia (Jim) Hughes Mediate. The Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 P.M., Wed., June 6, 2012 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, 2850 Old Alabama Rd., Johns Creek, GA. Jim will be placed at rest at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA, following the service. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
