Joan was born in New Orleans, LA, on August 20, 1933, to Claire Villar Miller and Albert Miller.
Joan retired from East Baton Rouge Parish schools after serving many years as a teacher and school principal.
She is pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert Gregory Hussey.
Joan is survived by her sons Bob, Ed (wife Susan), Stephen (wife Donna) and William (wife Maria), grandchildren Meaghan Clark (husband Chase), Greg (wife Jessica), Evan, Grace, Matthew, Nicholas, Cecilia and Lucas, great grandsons Cooper and James, and sister Jane Miller Green.
Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Church, 2025 Stuart Ave, Baton Rouge, LA followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.
