

Joan Ann McEvoy, 80 of Woodstock, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Cortland, New York, the daughter of Merwin and Ruth Lumbard. She grew up in the Town of Marathon, NY.
Joan loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed traveling and touring the country in the RV motor home. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
She will be deeply missed by her two daughters: Kelly (Michael) Miller of Roswell, Georgia and Jody McEvoy of Roswell, Georgia. Joan is also survived by her grandsons Blake (Kayla) Miller of Dawsonville, Georgia and Chad (Emma) Miller of Roswell, Georgia; her great-grandchildren, Valor, Titus, Brooks, and Lincoln; her sisters, Janet Tucker and Gail Burdick. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom.
Services will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at the Roswell United Methodist Church Chapel, visitation will be at 12 p.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Following the service, the family will go to the gravesite privately.
