Joan Lucy Presta

Joan Lucy Presta, 73, of Duluth, GA, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2010. She began her career with International Paper as a secretary and went on to become one of the few female executives and vice president of the company. She was a devoted catholic and loved her family, cooking, baking, knitting, and decorating. She was known for her charity work. Joan is survived by her loving family which includes her two sons, Christopher and Stephen Presta; sisters, Dotty Mattone and Josephine (Roy) Cicola; nephews, Roy Cicola and Edward (Arianne) Quinn; niece, Kerri Cicola and great niece, Anjelica Quinn. The visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076, (770)993-4811. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2010 at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Rd., Duluth, GA 30097. Joan will be placed at final rest following the mass at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA. Memorial contributions may be made in Joan's honor to St. Jude's Children Hospital. She will be forever loved and remembered as a devoted mother, wonderful sister, selfless aunt and dear friend. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the family's care.
