My deepest condolences to the Flack family. I had the pleasure of knowing, working with and loving my dear friend, Johnny.  I spent wonderful 12 years in Albany with my Pal...days and nights. He always had a smile on his face and he was fun to be with. We played alot of poker together when we were not in session in the Legislature. I will always remember my dear friend...Johnny!  I know John is in Heaven, and hopefully enyoying a good poker game. My friendship started in Queens, N.Y. in 1970 and continued in Albany. After after Albany in 1982 we continued to communicate on a monthly basis. If I missed his call call, he would leave a message..."and where is John Lopresto". God Bless my dear friend in Heaven and his wonderful family. I am now 76 years old and have heavy tears in my eyes. Love you Johnny...

Words cannot express how I feel at this time. So many thoughts and beautiful memories of a man who I had known for 40 years. He was my mentor, my guide and a true friend. I was honored to have been part of his staff when he served on the NYS Assembly and will never forget those days. He was always there when I needed him and was a source of inspiration, kindness and good natured humor. John is one person I will never forget.  My condolences to John and Linda and their families. My husband lives at Sunrise and Jack was so good to him.  Jack made a point to see that Jim was taken care of. We have been so sad to have to say goodbye to such a special man.  He was truly loved and respected by everyone one that knew him. Our heart aches for you and we are so sorry for your loss...and ours also, because we loved Jack as did everyone that knew him.
