I was fortunate to work with John during my time with Lanier in Atlanta. He was smart, kind, and never missed an opportunity to mentor me and so many other Lanier employees.  A wonderful man, and a life well lived. May he rest in peace.

I worked with John in Atlanta during the 90’s. Well, I actually worked for John, but he always made me feel like we were peers, striving to accomplish shared goal.

John was a wonderful person. He took me in and taught me so much about business. He reinforced in me the tenet that you can get ahead by doing things the right way. He was always honest and forthright and set an example in all his actions. He was one of the good guys and is truly missed.

So sad to hear of John's passing. Such a fine man. I had the great pleasure of interacting with John in both personal and professional engagements. As a professional John always came through. When hosting customers at the LTC he was always a hit with the customers as they could easily recognize that John knew his stuff. John was always certain that he addressed their needs and concerns.
On a personal note, my best memory of John is our trip to New Orleans in the early 90s with Dominic Pontrelli, Don Lunday, and our wives. We had such a great time and John was really in his element. I also have great memories of a trip home for San Diego during a snowstorm in Atlanta. Too long to relay here, but, boy, what a story.

As a young Lanier Sales Executive from Chicago, I was promoted to  the Atlanta Corporate Office for a new role as a National Sales Trainer.   On my first day, I was invited out to lunch with a group of guys from the Marketing Department.  John was one of the first people I met. He understood what a big move it was for me and how I felt being the new guy to the Atlanta team. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome, and I’ll never forget the kindness and encouragement he offered in those early days.

He was a wonderful person—caring, thoughtful, and always willing to help others. I’m grateful to have known him, and I’ll remember him with deep respect and appreciation.

My thoughts are with your family during this difficult time. I hope the many memories of his warmth and generosity bring comfort and peace.

I met John in 1985, when I started my career at Lanier Worldwide in Houma, Louisiana. John was one of the leaders in the office and specialized in selling microfilm equipment. He was very successful—his many company trips recognizing the top 5% of the sales force were a testament to that success.

Despite his achievements, John always made time for new employees and often invited them to join him on sales calls. His willingness to share his experience and guidance made a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.

Later, I had the pleasure of working with John again at the Ricoh Technology Center, where he hosted many customer visits. He had a remarkable ability to connect instantly with people, thanks to his warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of the industry.

John will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Paulette and Jen, I am so sorry for John's passing....  John was like a brother, as you are family to me.  John and I first met in 1990, working for Stan Lee, VP of Marketing, Lanier Worldwide.  John was the technology lead within Product Marketing where he and I were assigned to the 'Analog to Digital Transition' team.  Shortly thereafter, John and I moved on to Worldwide Strategy Marketing, reporting to Brian Bergin.  We traveled together from Japan, Western Europe, throughout the US and parts in between for 5 years, assisting in the building of our digital product portfolio.  As time went on, we also worked together within the Ricoh Global Services organization, as John led the Atlanta Technology Center, supporting Global Accounts on complex integration our of customers' IT infrastructure.  As good as John was about leading edge technology, he was even better as a devoted husband and father, leading a faith based family.  As hard as he worked, he definitely had his work / life priorities in place.  It was awesome to see John at our most recent Lanier Open tournament last May.  He enjoyed the reunion and was looking forward to our 2026 event. John will be dearly missed by many in the Lanier community. We know he is in a better place, and he would want us to carry on accordingly. John will always have a special place in my heart.

John was a close friend, a business associate and in later years my golf buddy. On business we travelled to Europe and Asia together and personally planned and went on many golf junkets. In life you may be  fortunate to have several very close friends, John was one, who will be very much missed. May god bless he and his family!

I first met John in Baton Rouge back in the early 80's.  We got reconnected in Atlanta at Lanier Worldwide.  John was a great guy and was very helpful to me as I transitioned from Voice Products to Lanier Worldwide. I know he will be missed by family and friends and we are all a lot better having known John.

Our Lanier family has lost one the greats. John Healy and his team at the ATC and throughout his long career made a remarkable impact on our ability to build and sustain closer relationships and stronger outcomes for our clients.   Will always remember being welcomed into his dynamic teams and many of the great collaborations and new breakthroughs and innovations we accomplished for large companies. Rest in peace my friend. John was a great person and mentor to me while I was at Lanier and Ricoh. He always brought his big personality and lit up the room. He will be sorely missed and my condolences to the family.

Dear Paulette and Family,  there are no words that can comfort you in anyway at this sad time. As you know, John was a very special man.  He had a positive spirit that always showed through him wherever he was.  I know others experienced that from him too.  He will be missed. Paulette and family, our Rosary prayers continue for you and John. We fondly remember you both always greeting us with smiles and kind words. John was certainly the finest example of a Catholic gentleman and brother Knight.

As a brother Knight, John contributed in so many ways.

John was always an admired catholic gentleman.  True to his faith and a leader as a Brother Knight.  He was a true friend and always enjoyed a good round of golf. Jen, I remember meeting your Dad for the first time. Me and Dan Waldinger traveled down to Atlanta to meet with him and talk about opening a Tech Portal.

Even though I was young and a complete nobody, your Dad was so kind to me. Every time we worked together it was an absolute pleasure — he was a true gentleman.

I know his passing is a tremendous loss. I hope that in time, the memories you and your family share will bring comfort and lightness in the times when you need them most.

John, I always enjoyed working with you and even playing golf back in the day. You’ll be missed!
