John Patrick McCleer, III passed away on November 30, 2024. The son of John Patrick McCleer, Jr. and Joan Striplin McCleer Flemming, John was a native Georgian and a graduate of Kennesaw State University. He is survived by his wife, Jodi; son, Eric; daughter, Lauren; sister, Phyllis Huggins (Bill); brother, Andy McCleer (Jeannie); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Among other things, John was a talented stained-glass artisan, and an avid tennis player. Always ready with a quick smile and a joke, he loved the beach, the mountains, road trips across the U.S., spending time with his family, good food and life. He fought a courageous and strong fight against prostate cancer and all things related, and never gave up. EVER. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
