John Edwin Parker of Roswell GA passed away on March 9, 2014 at North Fulton Hospital from Pneumonia. He was born on November 8, 1925 in Sugar Hill GA, was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Levie Parker, 8 sisters and 3 brothers. John is a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Carolyn Anderson Parker; two daughters Angela Fraser, Regina McClellan (Don); 5 grandchildren Craig Fraser (Brandy), Holly Newlin (Orville) Marci King (Jonathan) Corey McClellan (Jen), Richard Dexter, 10 Great Grandchildren who called him Pop Pop. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 2:00 in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hudson, Dr Bill Bagett and Elder R. E. Cagle officiating. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home.
