Joyce Stephens Fleeman

Joyce Stephens Fleeman, beloved mother and Nana, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, at the age of 71. Joyce was born to the late Marvin and Callie Stephens. She grew up in High Point, NC, before moving to live with family in Roswell, Georgia, in later life.

Joyce was a loving mother and a devoted Nana who treasured her family above all else. She had a gift for making a house feel like home and found great joy in cooking, gardening, and was a talented seamstress. She had an unmatched green thumb and could make just about anything grow. Joyce especially loved making Halloween costumes for her children, creating memories they would carry with them throughout their lives.

Throughout her life, Joyce faced many struggles, but she met each one with remarkable perseverance and strength. Her determination and resilience were a defining part of who she was, and she never stopped showing up for the people she loved.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her children, Randi Fleeman (Graeme Froggatt) and Jennifer Fleeman Weaver (Mark); her treasured grandchildren, Sage Boone, Bellamy Weaver, Hadley Weaver, and Embree Weaver; and her sister, Ann Yarborough.

She was preceded in death by her precious grandson, Hayes Weaver, and her siblings, Danny, Wayne, and Tammy Stephens.

A graveside service honoring Joyce's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.
