Jubin was born to Ackbar Tavakol and Parvaneh Emami on November 18, 1957 in Qazvin, Iran. He grew up with three sisters in Karaj and always spoke of having a loving and fun household.
He embarked on a journey of immigration to the United States - without knowing a soul - at the age of seventeen to continue his education abroad. Jubin obtained his degree in accounting and then received an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
After having a successful career in financial services, Jubin returned to Iran and met Feryal, his wife. Together they immigrated to the United States with their son, Ali, and began pouring the foundation of their family. Jubin and Feryal were blessed with their daughter, Sophia, in 2001.
Falling in love with the world of antique and vintage rugs, Jubin started his own business soon after returning to the U.S. His company, Jubin Rugs, has become a well-respected antique, vintage, and decorative rug company throughout the Southeast.
Jubin will be remembered by his family and friends for his honesty, integrity, generosity, and free spirit.
Jubin is survived by his wife, Feryal, his children Ali and Sophia, his parents Ackbar and Parvaneh, and his sisters, Rafat, Maryam, and Heshmat.
