Katherine Joanne Born

Mrs. Katherine Joanne (Lind) Born, age 91, of 6350 Hunters View Lane, Cumming, GA. 30041, peacefully passed away on Friday October 17, 2025, surrounded by her family. Katherine was born on April 1, 1934, in Watertown, SD. She married Theron W. Born on April 24, 1954.

Katherine is survived by her children Michael (Laurie), Patty (Kerry), Jeanne (Mark), John (Kathy), Paul (Kathy) and Katherine (Don), 14 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ted in May of 2010.

Ted and Kay were high school sweethearts and she pursued a nursing career while Ted became an accomplished Architect. Ted’s career took them across the country and Kay was a homemaker who developed a keen interest in antiques which led to a successful antique business. Upon retirement they fulfilled their dream of building a mountain cabin (Rockwater) and traveled across the country in their motor home. Katherine had many interests including weaving, gardening, tennis and was active in the neighborhood book club.

Funeral services will be held at Roswell Funeral Home located at 950 Mansell Rd Roswell, Georgia on Tuesday October 21st at 2:00 PM.
